Can IELTS exam be postponed?

Yes, IELTS can be postponed. This, however, would usually attract charges. So, it is advisable you always proceed with your IELTS test.

Can IELTS be waived?

IELTS cannot be waived for immigration. But for studies, some institutions might waive it. Candidates are however advised to confirm with the receiving organisation(s).

No, IELTS Academic can only be used for studies, or work in the UK (for nurses and doctors only). For immigration to Canada and most other countries, you need IELTS General Training.

Can IELTS be taken from home?

No. Not at the moment. IELTS Indicator was proposed to be taken from home because of COVID -19, but this has not started yet.

Can IELTS indicator be used for immigration?

No. IELTS indicator cannot be used for immigration.
