The GRE is a standardized test that is used for admission to graduate schools in the United States and Canada. It is a three-hour test that measures verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and analytical writing skills. The verbal reasoning section tests your ability to understand and analyze written material. The quantitative reasoning section tests your ability to solve mathematical problems. The analytical writing section tests your ability to write clear and concise arguments. The GRE is scored on a scale of 260 to 1,600, with 160 being the lowest possible score and 800 being the highest possible score.
